Ito Bindery is a book bindery that was founded in 1938, and has changed with the times to handle everything from brand catalogs to promotional materials. Our book-binding expertise can be seen in our line of high-end stationery, which uses specialized handicraft techniques that cannot be replicated by machinery. Our passion for and knowledge of paper allows us to explore new and creative ideas.
Sustainable Creation
New Ways of Thinking About Paper
All of the excess materials and paper waste, white paper, colored paper, cardboard, and specialty paper we cannot use, are separated and disposed of accordingly. Ever since we were founded, we have had a consignment agreement with a company that recycles old paper, and our scraps are used to create recycled paper.
Possibilities of Recycled Paper
Our Drawing Pads, Memo Blocks, and Pencil Stands use recycled cardboard material.
Developing Items That Use Recycled Paper
The Mag Note, an item that is exclusively available at our storefront, is made up of over 50% recycled materials, and the color of the paper used in this item varies depending on the materials recycled to create it.
Decoration
In 2019, we stopped using plastic packaging and switched to our current cardboard packaging.
